These number tracing worksheets in PDF cover the digits 0 to 9, one number per page, across 10 activity pages. Your child traces a big dashed digit, sees the number word, and on most pages colours that many stars.
What's inside: each page has a large dashed digit to trace and its number word in grey outline letters, from ZERO to NINE. Pages 1 to 9 also show stars to colour, for example "Trace it, then colour 3 stars!". The zero page explains "Zero means nothing at all!". The digits are the usual Western digits 0–9. Every page has Name and Date lines, and a "Super Star Learner!" certificate comes at the end.
Age: Age 2–4, as printed on the cover. Some children will enjoy the stars long before they can trace the digit, and that is fine.
How to print: choose the A4 PDF (or US Letter in the US and Canada), print at 100% scale ("actual size"), and use colour or black and white. The lines print clearly either way.
Tips for parents:
- Count the stars aloud together, touching each one as you go.
- Do one number a day. Praise the counting as much as the tracing.
See the number books page, then try A to Z Letters or Smiley Shapes. In the Chunnu Ji app, the guide What Comes Next? fits well with counting. Get the Chunnu Ji app on Google Play.
Questions parents ask
Which numbers are in the book?
The digits 0 to 9, one page each. There are no numbers above 9 and no sums.
Are Hindi (Devanagari) numerals included?
No. The book uses Western digits only.
What are the stars for?
On pages 1 to 9 your child colours the same number of stars as the digit, so you can count them together.
