These Telugu alphabet (aksharamala) tracing worksheets put the తెలుగు అక్షరమాల in one free PDF: 52 activity pages, one letter per page. Your child traces a big dashed letter, looks at a picture with its Telugu word, then traces and writes the letter again.
What's inside: the core set of current Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Class 1 charts. The achchulu అ ఆ ఇ ఈ ఉ ఊ ఋ ౠ ఎ ఏ ఐ ఒ ఓ ఔ, then అం and అః, the hallulu from క to హ, then ళ and క్ష. The old letter ఱ comes last, with a Telugu line saying it is an old letter no longer in use. Picture words include అం అంగడి, ఝ ఝండా, హ హంస and య యంత్రం. Some letters appear inside a word: ఘ in మేఘం, ణ in వీణ and క్ష in పక్షి. ౠ, అః, ఙ and ఞ have no picture: a Telugu line says no Telugu words start with that letter. Headers are in English. The book covers these 52 letters only: guninthalu (vowel signs) and ottulu are not part of it. It ends with a certificate.
Age: the cover says Age 2–4.
How to print: choose the A4 PDF (or US Letter in the US and Canada), print at 100% scale ("actual size"), in colour or black and white.
Tips for parents:
- Say the letter and its word aloud together: "హ, హంస".
- One or two letters a day is plenty. Praise the trying, not neatness.

Questions parents ask
How many letters are in this Telugu aksharamala book?
52: the achchulu from అ to ఔ, అం and అః, the hallulu from క to హ, then ళ, క్ష and the old letter ఱ, one per page.
Does it include guninthalu or ottulu?
No. The book covers the 52 achchulu and hallulu only; guninthalu (కా, కి…) and ottulu are not in it.
Why is ఱ in the book?
It is on the last page, marked on that page as an old letter that is no longer used.
Is this a Hindi book?
No. The letters and the picture words are Telugu. Our two Hindi Varnamala books are separate.
