This Om tracing worksheet book, My First Om, has 27 activity pages, each with one big Om (ॐ) symbol to trace and colour. It is a calm, simple book that lets your child get to know the shape of the symbol.
What's inside: the first activity page shows direction arrows along the strokes. The other pages place the Om on its own or inside a frame: a triangle, a rounded shape, a flower or scalloped circle, a circle, a leaf, a square, a rectangle and an octagon. The instructions are "Trace the dotted lines, then colour!", "Trace the dashes, then colour the Om!" and "Colour the Om!". There are no mantras or explanations, just the symbol. Each page has Name and Date lines, and the book ends with a "Super Star Learner!" certificate.
Age: the cover says Age 2–4. The Om has curves and a dot, so younger children can start with a finger on the arrow page.
How to print: choose the A4 PDF (or US Letter in the US and Canada), print at 100% scale ("actual size"), and use colour or black and white. The lines print clearly either way.
Tips for parents:
- Trace the arrow page together first, slowly, following the arrows.
- One page at a quiet time of day is enough. Praise the effort.
