This Marathi alphabet tracing worksheets book puts the whole Marathi varnamala in one free PDF: 51 activity pages, one letter per page, in the Maharashtra Balbharati Class 1 order. Your child traces a big dashed letter, looks at a picture with its Marathi word, then traces and writes the letter again.
What's inside: the swar अ आ इ ई उ ऊ ऋ ए ऐ ओ औ plus ॲ and ऑ, then अं and अः, then the vyanjan from क to ह, followed by ळ, क्ष and ज्ञ. Picture words include अ अननस, आ आई, उ उंदीर, ऑ ऑक्टोपस, क कमळ, ख खारुताई, घ घर and स ससा. Each page also has two rows of grey letters to trace and a row of boxes to write in, with the instruction "Trace the big letter, then write it!". ङ, ञ and अः have no picture, with a Marathi line saying no Marathi word starts with that letter; ण and ळ appear inside a word (पाणी, बाळ). त्र and श्र are not included. The book ends with a certificate.
Age: the cover says Age 2–4. Younger children can trace just the big letter and leave the boxes for later.
How to print: choose the A4 PDF (or US Letter in the US and Canada), print at 100% scale ("actual size"), in colour or black and white.
Tips for parents:
- Say the letter and its word aloud together: "क, कमळ".
- One or two letters a day is plenty. Praise the trying, not neatness.

No. The letters, the order and the picture words are Marathi, including ळ, ॲ and ऑ.
How many letters are there?
51: the 13 swar including ॲ and ऑ, then अं and अः, the consonants क to ह, and finally ळ, क्ष and ज्ञ.
Does it include barakhadi or matras?
No. Each page shows one letter on its own.
