These Malayalam alphabet (aksharamala) tracing worksheets put the മലയാളം അക്ഷരമാല in one free PDF: 51 activity pages, one letter per page. Your child traces a big dashed letter, looks at a picture with its Malayalam word, then traces and writes the letter again.
What's inside: the Malayalam letters in the order of the Kerala SCERT Class 1 alphabet chart. First the 15 swarangal അ ആ ഇ ഈ ഉ ഊ ഋ എ ഏ ഐ ഒ ഓ ഔ അം അഃ, then the 36 vyanjanangal: ക to ഹ, followed by ള, ഴ and റ. Picture words include അ അണ്ണാൻ, ആ ആന, ഞ ഞണ്ട്, മ മയിൽ and റ റോക്കറ്റ്. Some letters appear inside a word, with a Malayalam line pointing to the letter: ഖ in മുഖം, ങ in മാങ്ങ, ഴ in മഴ. അം comes with കുടം. Headers are in English. The book covers these 51 letters only: chillu letters, ക്ഷ and other koottaksharangal, and vowel signs are not part of it. It ends with a certificate.
Age: the cover says Age 2–4.
How to print: choose the A4 PDF (or US Letter in the US and Canada), print at 100% scale ("actual size"), in colour or black and white.
Tips for parents:
- Say the letter and its word aloud together: "ആ, ആന".
- One or two letters a day is plenty. Praise the trying, not neatness.

No. The book covers the 51 swarangal and vyanjanangal only; chillu letters (ൺ ൻ ർ ൽ ൾ), ക്ഷ and vowel signs (കാ, കി…) are not in it.
Is this a Hindi book?
No. The letters and the picture words are Malayalam. Our two Hindi Varnamala books are separate.
