23 pages
Print at 100% (actual size). A4 for India, the UK and Europe; US Letter for the US and Canada.
Free to download and print for personal, home and classroom use. Not for resale or redistribution.
These kite colouring pages for kids come as Fly My Kite!, a 20-page book of smiling kite characters to trace and colour. Many kites have arms, legs, shoes and long tails, and some pages show a spool with string.
What's inside: diamond-shaped kites with happy faces. About half the pages are dotted or dashed for tracing, and the rest are solid outlines that say "Colour the kite!". The first page also shows the words TRACE ME! and KITE. The last three activity pages show a spool (charkhi) and string, one of them as a little character with hands and legs. Each page has Name and Date lines, and the book ends with a "Super Star Learner!" certificate.
Age: the cover says Age 2–4.
It makes a cheerful book for kite season, such as Makar Sankranti or Uttarayan, though no festival name is printed on the pages, so it works any time of year.
How to print: choose the A4 PDF (or US Letter in the US and Canada), print at 100% scale ("actual size"), and use colour or black and white. The lines print clearly either way.
Tips for parents:
- Give each kite a name and a colour pattern before you start.
- One or two kites per session is plenty. Praise the effort.
